WINDSKI, was recognized and awarded bronze medals in the sports, and recreation divisions at the 2004 Inpex alt(Invention & New Product Exposition). Held May 12-15, at the ExpoMart, in Pittsburgh, PA. Inpex featured over 250 inventors and exhibitors from throughout the US and across the world.

Mr. Art Fry, inventor of the "Post-it Notes", and featured speaker at the 2004 Inpex, took time to congratulate Windski. "You've got to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince." "You've (Windski) got a prince of an idea."

The Association organizes World Championships since 1980. Different classes of devices that move on snow and ice with the use of wind race at the Championships in several divisions. In the last decade those divisions were: Open Class: Any sled using a windsurfing rig. Freesail: Wings, skate sails, Skimbats and similar. Kites: Overhead sails, paraw
ings and similar. Different divisions are defined for men and women as well as for age groups.

Intellectual property and invention experts judged the entries."
